YOUR EXCUSES HAVE A GYM MEMBERSHIP

Let me talk to you like a brother to a brother, and a sister to a sister, because we need to have this conversation.

We all have dreams. Big fat ones. The kind that make you smile in your sleep. You want to start that business. You want to write that book. You want that phone that doesn’t hang every 5 minutes. You want to build your mom a house. You want to travel. You want to be free. The appetite is there. The vision is HD 4K clear. You can see it.

But then months pass. And years pass. And nothing moves. And we sit there wondering “why is my life not changing?”

I’m going to tell you why, and I’m going to say it with love so you don’t block me. It’s laziness. And it’s small distractions that we keep feeding every single day.

You say “I don’t have money to start my business.” But I saw you last week buying airtime, buying sweets, buying that drink that tastes like sugar and regret. Last month you bought your girlfriend flowers and dinner and that teddy bear that’s now sitting in the corner collecting dust. And I’m not saying don’t love people. Love is beautiful. Sweets are sweet. But what about your dream? When does your dream get to eat? When does your dream get flowers?

We are very good at budgeting for everyone except ourselves. We will find 3 hours to scroll TikTok but we “don’t have time” to read 10 pages that can teach us how to make money. We say “I’ll start next month” and next month becomes next year and next year becomes “one day.” That one day is a thief. It steals your whole life.

And the worst part is we let the world deceive us. The world whispers “you can’t do it. You don’t have connections. You don’t have capital. You’re too late.” And we believe it. We sit down and we fold our hands and we watch other people win while we are busy watching.

But can I tell you something? That is a lie from the pit of hell.

God did not make you to be a spectator in your own life. The Bible says in Genesis that He gave man dominion. Dominion over every living creature. Dominion over everything that moves on the earth. Dominion means power. Dominion means authority. Dominion means YOU are in charge. Not your bank account. Not your past. Not your fear. YOU.

So why are we acting like we have no power? Why are we letting laziness sit on the throne of our lives?

Get up. I’m not shouting. Okay maybe I’m shouting a little bit 😂 But get up. Not next Monday. Not after the holidays. Today. Right now.

And how do you get up? First you feed your mind. You cannot build a mansion with empty bricks. You cannot build a business with an empty head. You need knowledge. You need encouragement. You need someone to shake you and say “you can do this” on the days you want to quit.

That is exactly why I wrote these books. That is exactly why I wrote these poems. I didn’t write them because I’m trying to be Shakespeare. I wrote them because I’ve been there. I know what it feels like to have a dream and feel stuck. I know what it feels like to have $5 in your pocket and a million ideas in your head.

These books are not just paper. They are a conversation at midnight when you’re overthinking. They are a push when your motivation has gone on holiday. They are the friend who tells you the truth and then makes you laugh about it.

Inside I talk about real things. How to start with nothing and still win. How to budget when money is playing hide and seek. How to grow when nobody is clapping yet. How to keep going when your business is quiet and your family is asking “so what are you doing with your life.” I also wrote poems that will make you and your children laugh until your stomach hurts. Because life is already hard. Reading me should not be hard.

So here is my offer to you, and I mean this from my heart.

If you have the money, go buy the books right now on the website. They are cheaper than the takeaway you bought yesterday. Cheaper than the data you used to watch videos you’ve already forgotten.

Don’t let another year pass and you’re still saying “I wish I started.” Start today. Sacrifice one sweet. Sacrifice one unnecessary thing. And invest it in you.

Because one year from now you will be in one of two places. You’ll either be saying “I’m so glad I started” or you’ll be saying “I wish I started.” And I already know which one you want.

God gave you dominion. I’m giving you the tools. Now you give yourself the action.

The world is waiting for what’s inside you. Don’t keep it waiting anymore. Go get the books. Go read the poems. And let’s build this thing together ❤️
