The Story Behind the LugenZim Tech Slogan

When people visit the LugenZim Tech website, one of the first things they notice is the phrase "Where My Heart Meets Your Shelf." At first glance, it may seem like a simple slogan created to sound attractive. However, for me, those words carry a much deeper meaning. They describe the entire reason why I write and why I chose to build LugenZim Tech.

Every book begins long before it is printed or downloaded. It begins in the heart of the writer. Before a single sentence appears on the page, there are thoughts, emotions, experiences, prayers, dreams, disappointments, victories, and countless moments that shape every word. Writing is not simply arranging letters into sentences; it is giving a piece of yourself to people you may never meet.

That is what the word "heart" represents.

My heart represents my experiences, my faith, my hopes, my struggles, and the lessons that have shaped my life. It represents the nights spent writing during power cuts, the quiet mornings filled with inspiration, the memories created during my missionary service in Ghana, and the countless moments when Heavenly Father reminded me that words can become instruments of hope.

Every poem I write carries something personal. Sometimes it carries joy. Sometimes it carries gratitude. Sometimes it carries questions, faith, love, or quiet reflection. Even when readers interpret a poem differently, the words always begin from a sincere place within my heart.

The second part of the slogan is "your shelf."

Years ago, a shelf simply meant a place inside someone's home where books were kept. Today, that shelf can also be digital. It can be your phone, your tablet, your computer, your Kindle, or any device where you choose to keep books that matter to you.

Whether you download one of my eBooks or one day place a printed copy on your bookshelf, the meaning remains exactly the same. A piece of my heart has found a place in your life.

That thought is both humbling and inspiring.

Every time someone purchases one of my books, I am reminded that writing creates a connection between people who may live thousands of kilometres apart. We may never meet face to face, yet through the pages of a book we share thoughts, emotions, ideas, and experiences. Literature has always had the remarkable ability to bring strangers together, and poetry often does so in the most personal way.

This slogan also reminds me of the responsibility that comes with writing. If my work is going to occupy space on your shelf, whether physical or digital, then it should deserve that space. Every book should offer encouragement, beauty, wisdom, inspiration, or thoughtful reflection. Every page should respect the time you invest in reading it.

That is why I continually strive to improve my writing, refine my work, and publish books that readers can return to again and again.

For me, success is not measured simply by the number of books sold. Success is knowing that someone opened one of my books on a difficult day and found comfort. It is knowing that a poem inspired someone to keep believing, keep hoping, or simply smile again. If my words can brighten even one person's life, then they have fulfilled their purpose.

The slogan also reflects what LugenZim Tech stands for as a publishing platform. This is not a place where books are produced simply to fill an online catalogue. Every title published through LugenZim Tech is created with intention, originality, and genuine care. Quality matters. Authenticity matters. Readers matter.

As LugenZim Tech continues to grow, the meaning of this slogan will never change. New books will be written. New poems will be published. New readers will discover this platform from different countries around the world. Yet the purpose remains exactly the same—to take what has been written from my heart and place it where it can inspire yours.

That is why I chose these words.
